  I seem to be in the minority here, which is a good thing, but my experience with Smart Wave Solar has been a mixed bag. My sales rep was great. He was very knowledgeable and responsive. My point of contact during installation was good. She was also very responsive. However, the installation process of my solar panels left something to be desired. It has been 6+ months since I purchased my panels, and they are still not operational. There were delays at every turn. It took a month to get an electrician out here after the panels were installed. The city inspector had to come back multiple times for the same issue which I ultimately had to fix. Then, once everything was finally finished and my meter swapped, I go to turn my inverter on, and the system doesn't work.

  I had a great experience using Smart Wave for my installation. The sales person was not pushy and responded to all my questions very quickly. Price was competitive and I no longer have an electric bill!

  Dan Rips is an asset to Smart Wave. I had questions regarding solar and didn't know who I should talk to. A family member is currently working with Dan and said I should give him a call. He was able to answer my questions without any hesitation. Dan's knowledge, candor and passion for the product let me know he would be there to assist throughout the entire project. Once it's completed, he would always be there for you. Give Dan call and out your mind at ease.

  I chose Smart Wave after looking at proposals from many solar companies. Every person I interacted with was very professional and they did great work, communicating with me at every step of the project. Diana Stutz and Celia Hanson were both really great to work with. The system is performing as expected and it looks great!

  This 4 star review is an update to the 2 star review I posted a few days ago. I chose Smart Wave Solar for several reasons: (1) they sold the panels and inverters I would have chosen if I were to install them myself (I did a lot of research) (2) the sales rep was transparent on the breakdown of cost (e.g. installation vs. materials) , (3) they own the entire installation so no 3rd party to deal with.

  Had a very good experience from the beginning. The solar installation project was managed effectively and I got advance notification at each step. The team was more friendly and they were open to answer my questions in a timely way.

  My Smartwave solar system has been installed now for about 7 weeks. I just received my first full month utility bill and my electric portion was zero. I also have about -400kw showing on my electric meter. We have been using our AC, electric dryer and electric water heater as usual. I am very happy with Smartwave so far.

  SmartWave Solar has top notch Marketing and Operational staff that did an outstanding job for me under some unusual circumstances. Soon after installation a huge hail storm hit our Golden area. The customer service staff quickly deployed the installers to check things out. My roof was destroyed but the Solar panels survived from close to 2" hail. Insurance company was quick to assess an SmartWave had to remove and reinstall Panels during the Roof Repair. The SmartWave staff worked with my insurance company in covering their labor. Our Roof and Solar System was back up and running quickly.

  We choose Smart Wave Solar for two reasons. Their salesperson did not pressure us to sign a contract until we were ready to do so. The other two companies we got bids from pressured us to sign a contract before we were ready to make a decision. SWS also provided the best pricing and warranty. Our project manager did a good job in working with us by communicating their plans and by letting us know the project plans and project status. She also made us aware when they would be at our home to do their work.

  Smart Wave has a professional staff and had our solar installed quicker than originally promised. The project manger kept us informed along the way and the installers were very professional and clean. Well done Smart Wave.

  I chose Smart Wave after getting estimates from several companies, because they had the best price per kilowatt hour of generating capacity, and it appeared they would deliver. I was not disappointed. It took a long time (apparently it usually does) but I now have a system that functions well. It may be coincidence that the Smart Wave bid was for a system with a higher generating capacity than any of the others, and I'm pleased with the results. They took care of upgrading my main panel, reinforcing my roof, and other details without adding to my cost. It's a well-run business that I can recommend.

  After interviewing multiple solar companies, I and another electrical engineering at my company both decided to go with Smart Wave. Not all solar installations are created equal. Smart Wave uses industry leading components. Installation was ahead of schedule and the results are exceeding expectations.

  When I first started looking into Solar it was kinda scary. Every one was telling me the other guys are lying or they don't deliver what they say they will. After I looked into the equipment and the interactions I had with their design team I began to build confidence that these guys were the real deal. There were a lot of delays on the city side for the approval of the plan but once that came through then everything happened very quickly and almost six months from the start (mostly COVID-19 delays.) we finally had the system on the roof and I've been very please with all the process and the equipment. The app allows me to keep up with my system and monitor output, individual panel production and all the stats related to my system. Very helpful for a hands on guy like I am. Highly recommend Smart Wave for your solar design and installation needs. Friendly, helpful professionals all along the way. Great Job Team.

  Smart Wave was fantastic, from their salesman to installation design and review to keeping us informed during the process and to final installation and city approval. They underpromised and over delivered which as a former business owner I really appreciated. This is the second time we've worked with them so we were returning customers.
