  GC Electric Solar offered me the best price and with their top notch customer service, I'm glad I chose them. I had quotes from big companies like Sunrun and they offered me lower quality panels at higher cost. I received Panasonic panels with 25 year warranty.   Overall I am happy with GC Electric Solar. They provided very competitive price with good quality panels. Sepehr and his team is very professional and installed my solar system shortly after I signed the contract. They responded my questions on time most of the time, only cons is that I waited more than six weeks to get the PTO because of a document delay. So far my system is running quite well.   Recently GC Electric Solar installed an 8.3KW solar system on my home. They installed hardware, got all inspections done, trouble shot some minor problems and set me up with a monitoring application . They completed all this work ahead of schedule.   After wanting solar for many, many years and sitting through several long, sales pitches, I finally took the recommendation of a neighbor and contacted GC Electric. The CEO himself was always engaged and always responded same-day to answer any questions I had. I only had to provide a handful of items to the design team to get them started on my system. It was only a matter of days before I got the design report that fulfilled all my use requirements. The report was easy to understand, and the plans were well done for the roof and panel configuration. GC Electric was easy to work with and I appreciated all the hard work they did behind the scenes. They use a construction coordination website that is easy to navigate, and it does a great job keeping you notified of any updates, plans and the schedule. It was easy to check on any status changes without being overwhelmed with correspondence. Installation could not have gone better. All the hardware was delivered in the morning and the crew got started right away. I was available to help answer any questions about my house, but it was not needed. The crew skillfully worked all day, and before 6pm the whole system was completed. The panels looked clean and organized. The conduits were well placed and efficiently connected the system to the electrical panel and the newly mounted hardware. After that, the inspection went just as easy. I was introduced to the new system as it was being set up and given instructions how to later turn on the system after approval. Now monitoring the production of energy from the panels from my phone or computer is something I look forward to. I would definitely recommend GC Electric services to any family or friend.   Had Gc Electric install solar panels on my roof. The install was very professional and price was the lowest of all my estimates. I'm having a meter measurement issue, waiting to hear back from them, other wise I would give them 5 stars. Update, Gc electric came out the same day I notified them.

  I have signed a contract with GC after I have read many reviews of previous customers and talked with GC personnel like Francis and Sepehr. They are very friendly and responding my questions very quickly. During the 3- month waiting, I could use their ProofHub link to monitor their updated progress. After waiting is done, they have completed the city permit, solar panel installation and then SDGE inspection. They took only one day to complete the installation. Very efficient! We have now enjoyed our solar panel working. We could use a phone App to see how efficient our sun panels are generating electricity. Last week is very hot. Because we have sun power, we could turn on AC to cool down without using much SDGE electricity. That is wonderful! Thank you GC team for your great work. That is working! My money have been paid off in a daily basis. I am very happy to recommend GC team to other customers.

  Just received my 1st electric bill after having GC Electric Solar install my panels. I was thrilled that there was a credit of $21.42. I thought that I would be responsible for the gas and fees. The process was was amazing, I would highly recommend them.

  Great company to do business with. They were prompt, got the job done quickly and did a great job. If you hire this company be sure to ask for consumption monitoring. It's an add-on relatively low cost option. They didn't bring it up until I asked for it. Even that additional install was fast and efficient.

  We are very happy with GC solar. We never got a "sales pitch", as we did with other solar companies. We simply got a quote via email, which was very competitive and I felt the salesman was very knowledgeable of our needs.   A superlative experience. GC Electric installed 13 panels and a battery at our residence in late 2017 - small system that required careful engineering for economics to work. Analysis and communication during evaluation, construction, and startup were outstanding. They were selected after screening seven proposals and detailed discussion with four contractors. The architecture of our tile roof limited our options. GC Electric provided a comprehensive analysis and coordinated roofing contractor necessary to complete installation. Their assistance with selection of a battery, as well as securing the SGIP rebate, was critical to economic success of our project. Exceptional service on all elements of our project.   My wife and I had numerous solar companies come to the house and give us their sales pitch. I felt like we had a pretty good understanding of solar and the grid from talking to the various sales people. Our last estimate of the day came from Sepehr (G C Electrics & Solar), he really impressed us with his knowledge about the whole solar process, that we decided to go with his company. They are Energysage certified, they're local to San Diego and have great prices. They installed the system and within 2 weeks we were cleared by SDGE to turn on our system. We have been generating solar power every since. I don't give many reviews, but this one is well earned. If you decide to go solar, do yourself a favor and at least get a quote from this company.

  After talking to various solar companies in San Diego, we decided to select G C Electric Solar to install solar system for our house. Since they are a smaller, locally owned and operated company, their price was very competitive compared their larger counterparts. We have the Panasonic Panels with Optimizers and SolarEdge Inverter installed. So far we are very pleased with the system production. They will get everything done as promised.   I found G C Electric Solar on Energy Sage and let me say that I am glad I did. After shopping around and calling numerous solar contractors in the area I found G C Electric's price point to be absolute best. Their warranty was comparable to everyone else's and working with Sep Nozari the owner made things super easy. I even got my roof repapered for a great price. These guys are great.

  This review is long overdue. My experience with GC Electric Solar was great! Sepehr is awesome and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They use high quality suppliers/materials and install their racking system with quick mount double flashing which is above and beyond the other companies I interviewed. Daniel and Luis (Installers) were fantastic and paid attention to detail during the installation. I love my solar system and really enjoy not having a high electric bill. Thanks Sepehr for doing exactly what you said you would do. They are the best VALUE in the industry. Don't get solar without talking to Sepehr first.   Excellent local solar service that installed 21 solar panels only weeks after we met at our home for the initial consultation. We compared their bid to 5 other solar companies and they came out slightly cheaper than the rest. Also, the owner's son does most of the contract and scheduling and is very easy to get a hold of and discuss any questions. I would fully recommend this company.

  Let me add to this 5 star service this company gave us! My husband was referred to Sepehr at GC Electric! Now.. I had already done some research and thought I had it all figured out... but Sepehr came in, educated us even more and he got our business! He facilitated the entire thing! The communication was excellent between him, myself and my husband! He told us when they'd be coming out to install and they were there on time!!!!!! He told us what they'd be doing, they even took pictures along the way and emailed us! They installed 22 panels on our roof, he educated my husband on the difference between the panels, where they should be placed on the roof and why and gave us a price that was the best of everyone else we looked at! We're so excited to be off the SDGE Grid!!! Well excited to have SDGE out of our Pocket!!!! Bye Bye SDGE!!! We love it!!! Thank you Sepehr!!! :))))

  I should have put out a review right after the project was done in Sept 2017, but I think the review now carrys more weight as it's been running since then - any bugs and fixes if any- I could describe here for the benefit of future users.   We looking into our options for solar and had three companies come to our home to provide us with not only an estimate but their industry knowledge on the market and best options for our energy needs. Sepehr Nozari, the CEO of GC Electric Solar, represented his company for their estimate. While the other two companies provided similar, basic industry information on solar panels and purchasing information (one essentially just said "so what would you like to know"), Sepehr came prepared. He had information about his company, the industry, market trends, usage options, purchase/lease options, tax credit information, etc. He was very knowledgeable and dedicated to being able to answer any and all possible questions. From there, he worked closely with us identify the amount of kWh production we would need for 100% energy coverage, number of panels to do this, installation timing, and loan facilitation to purchase our panels. We've had our panels for over two months now and our solar production is 12% more than what was estimated with all systems running smoothly, accessible to monitor by app, as well as followed closely the GC Electric if any issues. He and his team are very focused on great service and easy to work with.

  Amazing customer service and product. They worked with us until we were very happy - we wanted to maximize productivity of the panels while not being able to see them (difficult!) and loved the outcome.   Sepehr is the man for Solar! When I first got in contact with him from recommendations from one of the Solar forums I was hesitant since I didn't know much about Solar. Sepehr gave me an in depth analysis of what system would fit us best and gave us multiple options at different panels and price points we were comfortable with. Everything was done ahead of or according to the schedule Sep gave us; their prices were amazing, and all their products were top notch.   We have been extremely happy with our choice to go with GC solar! Our experience with them and their service throughout the process was impeccable. Sepehr, the owner and representative we met with, was knowledgeable, extremely personable, and made the whole process flow smooth and easy. Other solar companies told us the configuration of our roof made it impossible to install panels but Sepehr took one look at our roof and said it wouldn't be a problem. He was very confident the high efficiency panels they installed would sufficiently cover our energy needs and they have! We have had our solar system for 2 years now and it out-produces our energy needs. Last year we received a nice credit from the energy company! The installation of the panels was very efficient and the crew who installed the panels was extremely courteous and respectful. The price of our system was very reasonable and affordable, and worth every penny.

  From the moment I requested the quote to when the unit is switched on, it's been a top notch experience. I requested quotes from many companies and GC Solar did beat all the quotes by a large margin. I meant thousands of dollars. At one point I felt its too good to be true but decided to go with them. Sepehr was always transparent and available. He is so committed that sometimes we exchanged texts at 10 PM. I faced some issues with the bank that was processing the loan, but he even went ahead and started the project to save time even before I paid a dollar. The project took a little over 3 weeks and I am happy with my decision to go with Sep and his team. Great Job Guys.

  I feel so fortunate to have met and contracted with G C Solar, as they did an outstanding job ! My wife and I could not be happier ! The solar industry is one of the most competitive fields, where so many have jumped in, promising more than they can realistically deliver ! It is buyer beware! G C Solar, not only met and exceed their promises they did it all first class, making sure we were aware of what was being done and what the time table was.
